◆MTV Unplugged
MTV Unplugged is an American popular television series on MTV, showcasing acoustic technique, as it says “unplug” and sticks to the distance between performer and audience in very special live space with pressure of a live audience.
Since it was carried out for the first time in New York in 1989, more than 100 artists and groups, such as music superstar Eric Clapton, Mariah Carey, Oasis and other great pop artists like Adele, Katie Perry, Adam Lambert, etc. appeared and made a not just music fan but also a lot of enthusiastic fan of “Unplugged” in the whole music industry. Many of the artists who appeared on the show and released their Unplugged session as an album. There are many record or episode and Eric Clapton’s live CD, “Unplugged” won six awards including “album of the year” for Grammy Awards in 1992.
